Antonis Kyritsis
Biographical Note

Born and raised in the village Koskinas, in the Karditsa Prefecture, Thessaly. His love for traditional music grew as a child, his father being the chanter and teacher of the village. He studied Byzantine music and Orthophony in Athens.
He has collaborated with many musicians in various music venues, and mostly with the renowned clarinetist Petros-Loukas Chalkias, who has been his collaborator for thirty years.
He has participated in numerous concerts, in Greece and abroad, in collaboration with Greek and foreign artists –such as Ross Daly– as well as with an Indian band, managing to marry the music of Epirus with that of India.
He has circulated many albums, two of which have been awarded the Gold Record – Moraitika1 and Epirotika 1.
