Aristides Vassilaris
Biographical Note

(1932-2013). A virtuoso of the flute, the pipiza (shawm) and the clarinet. He was born in the village of Riolos in Achaea. He came from a family of musicians; his father was a zourna-player and his mother a folk music singer.
He worked with Simon Karas on the radio and with many others in the folk, rebetiko and "entechno" genres.
