Ας τον (ε) καλαντρίσουμε κι έπειτα ας αρχίσουμε
τα κάλαντρα να πούμε, βάλτε μας κρασί να πιούμε.

Εμείς κρασί δεν πίνουμε μόνο που δεν τ’ αφήνουμε
γεμάτο το ποτήρι και αυτό για το χατήρι.

Κάμνω λοιπόν αρχή καλή και του Προδρόμου  η ευχή
να ’ναι πάντα μαζί σας, έως τέλος της ζωής σας.

Και του χρόνου.
