Τι έχεις μαύρε κόρακα
Τι έχεις μαύρε κόρακα κι είν’ τα φτερά σου μαύρα;
Αν έχεις πόνο στην καρδιά, έλα να κλαίμ’ αντάμα.
Για σένα και για μένα γινήκαν οι καημοί
τα βάσανα κι οι πόνοι κι οι αναστεναγμοί.
Άσπρος γεννιέται ο κόρακας και μαύρος κατανταίνει,
όπ’ αγαπήσει κι αρνηστεί έτσι κι αυτός να γένει.
Έλα, πουλί μου, έλα να τα μιλήσουμε
γιατ’ είδα στ’ όνειρό μου πως θα χωρίσουμε.
Έρι, θα πάρω τα βουνά σαν τη μαυροπουλάδα
να πα να βρω τον μπογιατζή, να βουτηχτώ στα μαύρα.
